June 13 – In Harms Way

John Wayne and Kirk Douglas fight the Japanese.  Would you mess with the Duke?


June 20 – Till the End of Time

Former WWII Marines have trouble back home.  Guy Madison woos Dorothy Malone.  Robert Mitchum stirs up trouble…who would have guessed that?

July 6 – Operation Petticoat

Cary Grant, Tony Curtis, and Army nurses on a pink Submarine.  If only the war was like this!


July 7 – Battle of Britain

Michael Caine and a host of RAF Spitfires show up the Nazis, ruining Hitler’s plan to invade England.



July 14 – Midway

Charlton Heston, Henry Fonda, Glenn Ford, Robert Mitchum show the Japanese how the west was won…and the Pacific.  Erik Estrada forgoes his motorcycle to fly a fighter.


July 21 – Pride of the Marines

John Garfield as a Marine blinded in battle returns home to be rehabilitated.

Steve McQueen on a motorcycle shows the Nazis how we fight…with horsepower!  James Garner, James Coburn, & Charles Bronson help.



August 4 – Away All Boats

Jeff Chandler guides a ship hauling landing craft & soldiers in the Pacific.


August 11 – South Pacific

Love is in the air, as soldiers and sailors on a South Pacific island prepare for the Japanese.  During their downtime, they put on a musical comedy show.


August 25 – Stalag 17

William Holden outwits a Nazi infiltrator in a POW camp.  Was Peter Graves really a bad guy?



September 1 – Sergeant York

Gary Cooper portrays the great Tennessean in WWI. Yep!


September 8 – Idiots Delight

Clark Gable, Norma Shearer, and a cast of thousands portray traveling entertainers trapped in a Swiss hotel at the start of WWII, waiting to see what the Germans are up to. Possibly doing nefarious deeds?


September 15 – Teahouse of the August Moon

Glenn Ford goes to Okinawa after the war to help teach democracy. Marlon Brando drinks everything in the teahouse!



September 22 – Splendor in the Grass

Warren Beatty and Natalie Wood are dating.  Warning to Natalie: Don’t trust that Beatty boy.



September 29 – Meet Me in St. Louis

Judy Garland sings “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”  Toto loves it.
